the T4um Manifesto.
For more than 20 years we have been a forum. A noticeboard where someone would explain how to rebuild a VP37 pump, and nobody asked for anything in return. Fixing things and getting there have always been the only goals. It all started with Raudo and other pioneers, who have kept this place going ever since with passion and dedication, putting in time and energy to help anyone driving a T4 in Italy. In July 2025, for reasons beyond our control, the forum was rebuilt from scratch keeping its original style: we are now filling it back up together.

Online since 2005, rebuilt in 2025 in its original style. It stays ours, and we are filling it back up together.

We meet and get to know each other in person. Days where you talk to whoever already solved your problem, and then everyone has dinner together under the stars.

Sign up to the forum
Create an account on t4um.com/forum. It is always the first step: that is where the technical answers live and where meet-ups get organised.

Introduce yourself
Open a topic in the “Presentazioni” section. Tell us which T4 you have (or would like), where you are from, what you are after.

01What is T4um?
Since 2005 we have been an informal club of Italian Volkswagen T4 enthusiasts, built around the forum. No red tape: just people sharing passion, experience and spare time around the same van.
02How can I take part?
Three channels: the forum (for technical discussion and the historical archive), the Telegram group (for quick support) and the Facebook group (for photos, classifieds, trips). All open to anyone driving a T4.
03Do I need to own a T4 to take part?
No. Many of our members used to have a T4, are looking for one, or simply love this van. The community is about T4s, but the passion is up to you.
04How do I contribute to the technical documentation?
Open a topic on the forum in the relevant section and share guides, photos, scans of diagrams. Every so often we move the most settled material into the site’s technical archive, crediting the original author.
